Chromebooks now available for lending

The Prince George Public Library (PGPL) is pleased to announce the addition of Chromebooks to its collection of borrowing materials. With eight Chromebooks available at the Bob Harkins Branch, downtown and two at the Nechako Branch, in the Hart, library patrons now have the opportunity to borrow these user-friendly laptops for up to one week at a time.

Chromebooks are lightweight laptops designed for simplicity and ease of use, particularly for online tasks such as web browsing, email, document editing, video conferencing, and more. With a focus on web apps and cloud services, Chromebooks offer a straightforward solution for individuals without access to personal online devices. So, whether it’s for enjoyment or to complete assignments, write or update your resume, submit official documents, or attend an online meeting or interview, PGPL has got you covered.
